London’s Chinese New Year (we choose to use Lunar New Year to be more pan-Asian inclusive) celebrations are the largest outside Asia! Get ready for the spectacular sights and sounds from colourful parades, performances and displays coming to Chinatown and London’s West End this Sunday 22nd January to celebrate the Year of the Rabbit!
The parade, organised by London Chinatown Chinese Association, usually takes place from Charing Cross Road at 10am, before making its way through Shaftesbury Avenue and Chinatown. Further performances take place in Trafalgar Square where a stage is set. For more info and the line up of events visit: www.visitlondon.com/china
