Pivot Bar & Bistro launches new Summer menu… and Kids eat FREE Sunday

Editor Kai Lutterodt invites the @coventgardenmum to rediscover Pivot Bar & Bistro as they showcase a new Summer menu, and a free Sunday Roast offer for kids – just in time for the school holidays!

Overlooking the iconic Covent Garden piazza, Pivot Bar & Bistro is situated over two floors in the historic Georgian townhouse of 3 Henrietta Street. The restaurant is headed up by award-winning chef Mark Greenaway and honours fresh seasonal ingredients focusing on quintessential British cuisine with a Scottish twist. Greenaway has re-worked the la carte menu to bring regulars and new visitors alike a wealth of new dishes such a starters including Dressed Asparagus with poached hen egg and hollandaise sauce, or Scottish Smoked Salmon served with capers and shallots.

For mains, the hearty Beef and Bone Marrow Pie or Vegetable Pie filled with lentils and spiced vegetables, and Roasted Ham Eggs & Potatoes which is designed to be shared by two people. Add a side of Roasted Jerusalem Artichokes, Charred Hispi Cabbage with chilli butter and breadcrumbs, or Pivot’s smooth Buttery Mash to complete your main meal.

To satisfy your sweet tooth, why not indulge in a classic Sticky Toffee Pudding & Custard or a rich Chocolate Mousse topped with crunchy caramelised hazelnuts and an indulgent clotted cream.For those with a savoury preference, tuck into the English Cheese Selection that celebrates the very best of British in the cheese world.

Kids eat FREE on Sunday this Summer

Try their award-winning Sunday roast, and the best part is – kids eat FREE.* Children under the age of ten can choose a free main meal (as a kids size portion) from the Sunday Roast menu when two or more adults select a main meal each.

Make the most of Sunday traditions this summer with Pivot’s Sunday Roasts. For just £32 for two courses, or £38 for three courses, enjoy starters such as a richChicken and Hazelnut Terrine or light and Creamy White Bean Soup before tucking into a traditional Roast Chicken or a hearty Roast Beef. For those opting for a meat-free option, then the Roasted Cod Fillet or the seasonal Ratatouille make a perfect choice.

*T&Cs apply. Limited to two children under the age of ten per table, one child gets a free meal with one paying adult. Offer only available on Sunday. The free meal is a children’s sized portion therefore smaller than the regular sized roasts.
