Stop scrolling – National Burger Day is right around the corner! It’s the big day for all you burger lovers out there, happening on Thursday 24th August. We’ve put together a juicy round-up of the Best Burger joints in town – tried and tested by real foodies… Where will you be heading to for the ultimate burger feast?

Fat Hippo Soho

Fat Hippo have been celebrating National Burger Day for well over a decade now so you know, they know how to throw a patty party! Celebrate this ‘sacred day of burgers’ with their limited edition, Re-Born Slippy (featured image) staring handmade chipotle bacon butter, it’s guaranteed to get juices flowing!


Gordon Ramsay Street Burger

Indulge in the gastronomic delight of a meticulously crafted burger at Gordon Ramsay’s Street Burger, the renowned establishment led by the acclaimed Michelin-starred chef. Opt for gourmet vegan or classics like the Hell’s Kitchen burger!


Wonderland Soho

Wonderland is the exciting new opening on Old Compton Street from brothers Alex and Oliver Santoro, inspired by nostalgic films they grew up watching. The menu features twists on well-loved classics including the ‘Royale with cheese‘ burger: a grass-fed smashed 100% Aberdeen Angus beef patty topped with cheddar cheese, homemade ‘Wonder Sauce’ with homemade gherkins with the vegan alternative. The Wonder Burger consisting of a homemade plant-based ‘beef’ patty with all the trimmings.


My Place Soho

My Place Soho is the local hangout for Sohoites! Best known for their coffee and cocktails (they do a mean espresso martini!), you can now add great value juicy burgers to the list from just £10 during their Happy Hour Burger & Beer special (Mon – Fri 2pm – 5pm).


Shake Shack

This American fast casual restaurant fast casual joint from the concrete jungle of New York City has taken the city by storm since its arrival in Central London! They switch things up regularly with the coolest limited edition menus and collabs, so there’s always something new to try. BTW, their plant-based patty is pretty awesome too!


Truffle Soho

This Burger joint pays the ultime homage to truffles! Expect fries and truffle-flavoured burgers dished up in a hip restaurant that has compact seating. Oh and surprised yourself with the plant-based burger – it’s juicy AF!


Honest Burgers

Since their arrival on the culinary scene in 2011, Honest Burgers have been a champion of Great British produce, working directly with farmer to farm regenerately. All burgers come with Rosemary chips as standard. And their chicken is free range & halal. Call us biased but the Soho Burger featuring The Gay Farmer pesto (only available at HB Meard Street, Soho) is a CHAMP (switch up the beef patty for a vegetarian option)!


HotBox

Hotbox takes burgers to a whole other level – crafted ensuring each bite is a burst of flavor! The combination of kiln-dried Hickory and Oak in in their 1-tonne Rotisserie Smoker, results with patties that are juicy and full of mouthwatering goodness. Find them in Market Halls Victoria, Oxford Street, Liverpool Street, and Spitalfields.
