It’s Awards Season, and here at My Soho Times we’re championing independent cinema! Here’s a roundup of a few noteworthy Award Season dates for the diary, independent films on our radar, and snacks to create that home cinema experience!

Films We’ve Watched
It’s been an exciting season for us filled with press invites to the cinema and private screening rooms to view award-qualifying films! First up on our viewing the list was My Week with Maisy starring Dame Joanna Lumley, followed by an array of London-based films shown during BFI’s LFF such as SCALA!!!. We proudly supported the premiere screening of No Budget No Script No Permission – the making of God’s of Their Own Religion feature film by award-winning director Naeem Mahmood (get tickets for the premiere here). Soho-based filmmaker Angela Fealy gave The One Man Note rave reviews.
