Sheep Soup in association with Soho Theatre present House of Life, 18 June – Saturday 6 July
‘Surely the feelgood sensation of the fringe’ ★★★★★ The Telegraph

Full of music, uplifting joy and community spirit, the House of Life is an interactive cabaret show hosted by the RaveRend, aiming to create a sense of togetherness and elevation in the space. It is a chance to achieve absolute euphoric togetherness through the relentless powers of music and vibes, with a one-part sermon, one-part purge, and three-parts party format. The show is different every night as the RaveRend and Trev build the choons with the congregation. The House of Life is led by the ‘hype’ man himself, the glitter-clad RaveRend, and is created by Sheep Soup, alumni of the BAFTA-winning Television Workshop, known for their sell-out Fringe run in 2023 and smash hits such as Mrs Green: The Musical and The Invention Of Acting.
Runs at Soho Theatre’s Upstairs space before moving to the Edinburgh Fringe as part of Soho Theatre’s programme.

Soho Food Feast, 7th – 9th June

Soho Food Feast has supported Soho Parish primary school for 12 years (14 with a two-year hiatus during Covid(. This family-friendly festival previously fundraised for the school’s playground and healthy eating kitchen. Now financial help is needed due to the increasing number of pupils and lack of Government funding.
Due to the school’s Victorian building and location, it cannot accommodate as many pupils as a large state school, resulting in inadequate funding. However, the school receives vital financial support from events like Soho Food Feast, ensuring its stability. The community’s remarkable spirit, especially evident during the successful Soho Food Feast events, has been crucial in supporting the only school in Soho.
