When Centrepoint reached out and asked me if I’d be interested in presenting their first video podcast – Point Made: By Young People for All People, I jumped at the opportunity! My connection to Soho began at Centrepoint 19 years go. As the leading youth homelessness charity in the UK, they are renowned for the amazing work they do supporting vulnerable young people into independent living, whilst breaking the stigma of homelessness.
It was a pleasure to present Point Made discussing a very important topic everyone can relate to in some way – Prioritising Mental Health in a Cost of Living Crisis. Here’s what these young people have to say. Take a listen and let me know your thoughts in the comment box below!

£25 COULD PAY FOR A BED AND A HOT MEAL
As the cost-of-living crisis continues to bite hard, thousands of young people will be pushed to their breaking point this Christmas. Many have no family they can ask for help and no savings to fall back on. When money is already so tight, just one unexpected cost can plunge a young person into debt – or, even worse, life on the street. But your donation can help bring them back from the brink.
94% of young people move on from Centrepoint positively.
Special thanks to Sharon, Mahnoor, Ben for sharing their insight on the topic so articulately, and Centrepoint for this opportunity!
