This festive season, Miller Harris has partnered with The Londoner Hotel’s glamorous Stage Champagne Bar to create a cocktail experience inspired by the luxurious floral of Miller Harris’s Secret Gardenia fragrance. Considering that I strongly claim not to be a winter person (farewell Autumn, my favourite season), I’ve seamlessly embraced the mission of discovering unique drinking experiences to boost that Christmas cheer. I’ve sipped warm mulled wine beneath the starry Christmas lights of Oxford Streets on an open-top bus and entered the delightful world of all things James Bond at The 007 for a cocktail – shaken not stirred, in Mayfair’s Burlington Arcade. While I know this time of year offers an abundance of choices for where to drink (not to mention the waterfall of drinks at Christmas dos), this cocktail collaboration with one of my favourite perfumers, Miller Harris, has enchanted its way into my recommendations! The delightful mix of fragrance and mixology adds a sprinkle of sophistication and elegance to the festivities.
I was invited, along with a friend, to experience these limited-edition cocktails thoughtfully curated to complement the festive ambience of The Stage champagne bar. Don’t miss the opportunity to get a glimpse of the majestic Christmas tree, designed by the renowned British wedding gown designer Kate Halfpenny, which stands by the window display of the front lobby. For a closer appreciation of the bow-themed tree, I recommend a table by the fireplace towards the hotel entrance, where, from this cosy nook, you can watch as international guests arrive at their destination… What a gentle reminder that I, a Londoner, already get to call one of the world’s most sought-after cities home.

Secret Bloom: Bombay Sapphire gin, Tio Pepe, Italicus fortified with yuzu jasmine cordial, pear eau de vie, violet liqueur, sandalwood & orange flower water
Elysium: Belvedere vodka, Muyu jasmine, lychee & yuzu cordial, Noilly Prat, amaretto fortified with sandalwood & honey
