Looking for a free way to explore the West End this summer? London’s about to get a whole lot more colourful.
From 28 July to 30 August, internationally acclaimed artist Mr Doodle will be taking over parts of the West End with Mr Doodle’s Doodle Discovery – a free public art trail featuring five giant sculptures covered in his signature playful illustrations.
The trail will lead visitors through Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square and St James’s Market, with each sculpture inspired by the people, places and culture that make London’s West End so iconic. Expect plenty of nods to theatre, film, food, art and the neighbourhood’s creative spirit.
Whether you’re planning a family day out in Soho, meeting friends in town or simply looking for an excuse to explore, the trail is designed to be fun, interactive and completely free.

The adventure begins on Tuesday 28 July with a special launch event, Doodle with Mr Doodle!, where visitors can help inspire one of the artworks before watching the artist complete it live. Free tickets for the launch event will be released via Eventbrite on 14 July.
Each sculpture will feature a QR code linking to a digital trail map, exclusive content and the chance to enter prize draws, including family experiences in the West End and Mr Doodle goodies.
Known for transforming everything from sketchbooks and clothing to entire buildings with his unmistakable doodle style, Mr Doodle has built a global following through his imaginative, larger-than-life creations. This summer, his colourful world arrives right in the heart of London.
If you’re spending time in Soho or the West End over the school holidays, this is one free attraction that’s definitely worth adding to your list.
