When Boris biking goes wrong… (and a Brazilian guy)!

When the sun’s out, there’s no better way to get around London than with a Barclay’s bike – or as Londoners have nicknamed them, Boris bike in honour of our London Mayor.

With my best friend Kinho in town from São Paulo Brazil for just a week, we took to the bikes to get around London… From Soho Square to the Big Ben to Hyde Park – I was a tourist in my own city!

There are more than 10,000 bikes at over 700 docking stations situated every 300 to 500 metres across London. Soho has 7 Barclays Cycle Hire docking stations to choose from:

  • Wardour Street, Soho
  • Broadwick Street, Soho
  • Soho Square , Soho
  • Moor Street, Soho
  • Great Marlborough Street, Soho
  • Golden Square, Soho

So get to your nearest docking station and travel around London for as little as £2 per day! Check out Barclay’s Cycle Hire for more info and maps.

(Oh and btw – don’t cycle and record on your phone at the same time..!)

What are some of your experiences using the “Boris bike”. Share in comment box below x
