As Christmas Day draws ever closer, there are a few things which are inevitable; the tree is up – tick, Christmas shopping is done(ish!) – tick, gifts are wrapped – tick… checking up on your elderly and vulnerable neighbours? tick, tick, tick!
We were able to continue our tradition of visiting some of Soho’s senior citizens (aka young at heart residents) with some Christmas goodies, supported by Co-op Berwick Street Soho!
“It’s great to be back right in the heart of Soho! We’re excited to be able to make a positive difference within our community especially over the next 12 months as it’s the 50th year of pride.”Richard, General Manager at Co-op Berwick Street, Soho.
Thanks to our friends at Co-op Berwick Street, this year we’ve once again been able to pay a visit to a few of Soho’s senior and vulnerable residents to gift them some Christmas food goodies! It’s a small act of kindness which got a big reaction of gratitude from the residents we visited.
We distributed seven bags full of Co-op Christmas treats to local residents in Soho – just in time for Christmas!
A big thank you to Lucy Poole, Co-op Berwick Street manager Richard and team for supporting this My Soho Times Christmas initiative. We look forward to more community collaborations with Co-op in 2022!
